👋🏻 Welcome to my webpage!
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Wireless Communications and Signal Processing Lab, at Imperial College London, UK. My research interests include signal processing, wireless communications, and analog computing.
I received the BSc and the MSc from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2018 and 2020, respectively, the MSc from NTNU - Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway, in 2020, and the PhD from Imperial College London, UK, in 2024. In 2020, I also received the Licence of the Collegio Superiore, the school of excellence of the University of Bologna, which admits approximately the top 0.1% of students. In 2023, I was a Visiting Researcher with the Chair of Signal Processing Methods at the Technical University of Munich, Germany.
I was awarded the Eryl Cadwallader Davies Prize in 2025 for the best PhD thesis in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at Imperial, the Imperial College London PhD Prize by G-Research in 2025 for the second-best PhD thesis at Imperial, and the IEEE GLOBECOM 2025 Best Paper Award.
If you have any questions or want to exchange some ideas, I am always happy to chat. Please reach me at m.nerini20 [at] imperial.ac.uk.
